General Classes: All students will participate in the General Classes every week.

Scripture Study: Students will be required to memorize seven scriptures each week and will be tested on them every Tuesday morning. By the end of the year students will have memorized two hundred Bible verses.

Core Values is a class, taught by a second year student, where we dig deep into the lives of history makers and learn from all kinds of people who have changed the world before us.

Essentials is a time where we split the group into girls and guys. The Movement’s women’s and men’s discipleship director teach their respective classes. Some weeks are fun activities while other weeks are teaching times.

Biblical Studies is a class dedicated to making the bible and theology real and alive in the way we interact and connect with God and people. It's about discovering the deepness of God in a very simple and understandable way. God is very real and so His word should not be a boring text book, but rather His word is meant to be exciting to our hearts and exilerating to our Christian walk. Biblical Studies is geared towards making God as close and as real to you as He desires to be, so if you don't understand much about the Bible or if you have been studying for years, God always wants to be closer so in this class everyone learns more.

Ministry Tracks:

Ministry tracks take place 2 afternoons each week. Tracks are split up into trimesters so each student will have an opportunity to be in 3 different tracks during their time in the program. The tracks that we currently offer are listed below.

  • Adopt-A-Block
  • Children's Ministry Training
  • Culture Creators
  • Dance
  • Family Floor
  • Foster Care Ministry
  • Marketing
  • Media
  • Outreach
  • Red Eye
  • Worship and Music Development
  • Youth Ministry
  • Youth Ministry Training

Adopt-A-Block:

Known as the heart beat of the Dream Center, Adopt-A-Block doesn't just happen on Saturdays, but through out the week as well. Things need to be prepared, people need to be served, things need to be planned- and this track is responsible for helping get these things done.

Children's Ministry Training:

The Dream Center's very own children's ministry is literally an experience for the children from the moment they walk through the door to the last second when their parents pick them up. We've created new adventurous worlds and themes in each of the sections of the building so that when a child comes into the building they can forget about their problems, have fun, and be loved by the ministry team. Students will be a part of planning weekly lessons, worship, and creatively meeting the children where they are.

Culture Creators:

The creative communications track teaches and allows students to explore the creative arts. Some of the areas the students learn about include writing, painting, spoken word, dance, fashion design, drama, and many more.

Dance:

In the dance track, not only will students be learning to dance, but they will also learn the history of dance as well as the many different types. The goal of this class is that by the end of the year students would have better knowledge of dance, live a healthier lifestyle, and feel confident to take on the world of dance.

Family Floor:

Here at the Dream Center, we have a floor dedicated to helping families who were once with out a home by giving them a place to live and get back on their feet. The students in this track get the opportunity to spend time with these precious families, serve them, and get to know them by helping out in all ways possible.

Foster Care Ministry:

The Foster Care track is incredibly rewarding because people's practical needs are met. The mission is to prevent families from being torn apart because of poverty. It is our belief that no child should be taken away from loving parents due to poverty. We work hard to keep families together.

Marketing:

In this track, students get to see the ins and the outs of how things happen at the Dream Center- from organizing to making connections with people, they not only get to see how it happens, but they get to help make it happen.

Media:

There is a lot of media incorporated into what goes on in both the Movement and the Dream Center. This track is designed to teach students how media works and enable them to have a part in the media that is produced in the Movement. The creative input and ability that they have and acquire are put into practice in this track.

Outreach:

The heart of The Dream Center is outreach, and we want to instill that heart in the students of The Movement. The outreach class goes out into the community and loves people. They are involved with ministries of the Dream Center, such as Food Truck, Adopt-A-Block, Bus Ministry and under the bridge, as well as doing other acts of service as needed in the community. They will also learn fundamental principles on raising money, coordinating events, and mobilizing volunteers.

Red Eye:

In a culture often caught up in the flash of the Hollywood life, Red Eye, is providing a common ground for people to develop their talents and help those in need. It's a more private community of young Hollywood peers, Culture Creators that have a tireless pursuit to use their talents and spheres of influence in a positive way. Red Eye's Track provides the opportunity to use your gifts and talents in social networking, coordinating of events, media, and serving the community directly through humanitarian events.

Worship and Music Development:

The Worship and Music Development track offers students a well-rounded knowledge of music theory and how to lead worship. Students will also be taught how to read and write music as well as how to play different instruments. We believe worship is more about how you live off the stage than how you perform on it.

Youth Ministry:

The Dream Center's very own youth service, Reach, is a high energy, fun filled service for the youth from the surrounding community. The students in this track get to organize and plan the service, make connections with the youth, and bring in more students to attend. This track is a great way for students to be involved with the youth and make an impact in their lives.

Youth Ministry Training:

The Youth Ministry training track is one in which students will learn the ins and outs of youth ministry. From service development to administrative work and from mentorship to outreach, students with a desire to work with young people will learn exactly what it takes to be effective in today's youth culture.
